Fans pose for photos with Banana Ball players during a meet-and-greet event at Dunkin’. The meet-and-greet in Spartanburg will be held on August 8, ahead of the Texas Tailgaters and Indianapolis Clowns series at Fifth Third Park as part of the 2026 Banana Ball World Tour.
Spartanburg residents will have a chance to meet players from the Texas Tailgaters and Indianapolis Clowns during a special appearance at the local Dunkin’ restaurant on Saturday, Aug. 8.
The event will take place from 9-11 a.m. at the Dunkin’ location at 1452 W.O. Ezell Blvd., where players will serve customers, sign autographs and take photos with fans. Guests also will have the opportunity to receive Dunkin’ merchandise and promotional gift cards.
The visit comes as part of Dunkin’s partnership as the official coffee and breakfast partner of the Banana Ball Championship League during the 2026 Banana Ball World Tour. The Texas Tailgaters and Indianapolis Clowns are facing off in a three-game series Aug. 6-8 at Fifth Third Park in Spartanburg.
The event also will include a special recognition of local Purple Heart recipients and their families from Upstate Warrior Solution, a nonprofit organization that supports veterans and their families throughout the Upstate.
In honor of National Purple Heart Day, Dunkin’ provided 30 tickets to local Purple Heart recipients and their families for the Banana Ball series, offering an opportunity to celebrate their service and sacrifice while enjoying one of the area’s newest sporting events.
