SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Spartanburg Community College (SCC) is set to continue its popular ‘Live to Chase’ initiative for the 2026-2027 academic year, giving qualifying students the opportunity to receive full-tuition scholarships and furthering the college’s commitment to making higher education accessible and affordable.

About Live to Chase
The Live to Chase program provides full-tuition coverage for eligible students enrolled in qualifying credit-bearing certificate or degree programs, after accounting for other grants, scholarships, or financial aid. While tuition is fully covered, students are responsible for additional costs such as books, supplies, lab fees, and program-specific expenses. Since its launch, Live to Chase has helped hundreds of students in South Carolina pursue their educational goals without accumulating tuition debt. By removing financial barriers, SCC aims to create pathways for students to earn certificates or degrees, enter the workforce, or continue to further education.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the 20262027 Live to Chase scholarships, students must live or work full-time in South Carolina and be enrolled in an eligible SCC certificate or degree program. They must take at least six credit hours per semester, maintain a minimum GPA of 2.2, and complete the federal FAFSA for the relevant academic year.
