Bobby Dailey, Jr. has been the publisher of The Spartan Weekly since 1998. A 1996 graduate of Dorman High School, he joined the U.S. Navy after graduation and served in an active duty role for a year and served in the Reserves through April 2004. During this time he finished an Associate’s Degree at Spartanburg Methodist College. After stabilizing and growing the business, he finished his undergraduate degree at Clemson University in 2006 and later completed an MBA at Clemson in 2023. He has dedicated most of his professional life to growing and building upon the legacy his father started in 1963. He also serves as a volunteer for Mobile Meals. His hobbies include traveling with his family, exercise and outdoor activities, and Clemson athletics, and he’s been known to enjoy a good bourbon on Friday or Saturday evening.
